Two Free Festive Updates Coming to Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac
As first snowflakes silently fall on the roofs of Townlet and the Underworld stirs, one thing is clear above all - Christmas is here! YOOZOO Games are excited to announce two Christmas updates coming to the ever expanding RPG mobile game Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac on December 16th and 23rd, available to download on App Store and Google Play.
The updates bring the new Surplice Shion character, increased Underworld character summon rates, a Christmas-themed PvP mode and a brand new PvE mode called the Swim Club Ghost Story!
Surplice Shion
The former Grand Pope and Gold Saint of Aries is coming to the game for the first time on December 23rd. Surplice Shion was among the most powerful of Athena’s Gold Saints, and has now been resurrected by Hades, god of the Underworld. Surplice Shion Summon will be open for a limited time, featuring double summon rates for the former Grand Pope.
From 16th to 23rd December, Surplice Shion will be available to all players in the Sacred Duel mode for limited trial. Other Underworld characters such as Hades, Thanatos, Hypnos, Rhadamanthys, Minos and Aiacos will all join the Legendary Summon.
Swim Club Horror Story
Now that the holiday season is here, the Swim Club of the Sanctuary Training Academy is taking a trip to the seaside, staying in an old castle for the night. When the night falls however, something mysterious happens. Complete challenges in the new PvE mode Swim Club Ghost Story to escape from the castle and get unique rewards! This new mode triggers random events every time the player makes a move, allowing them to choose from a set of skill cards and bring their own card deck.
PvP, UI Overhaul and Festive Cosmetics
The PVP Melee is returning to the game on December 16th with a festive Christmas theme. Additionally, all players will notice that their UI and log-in screen will get a festive skin to celebrate the Christmas mood, and the update will also bring Fruits of Strife, a new Star Cosmo, and a new Saint Cloth - Poseidon’s Scale. Get ready to collect the items and unleash their power!
From December 16th, there will be a host of in-game events such as the new PvE Activity Swim Club Ghost Story, the returning PvP Activity Melee, and additional activities like Saint Cloth Rebate and Mystery Hall. Brand new in-game items will also be available in the store, including a new Cosmo Fruits of Strife, a new Saint Cloth Scale of SS Poseidon and a Season 1 Companion Gift. Last but not least, the game UI and interface will get a Christmas overhaul!
