World of Darkness Announces Season Two of Vampire: The Masquerade Actual Play Streaming Series New York By Night, Airing September 30

Continuing the brand’s 2022 original content line up is Hunter’s Garage, a liveplay streaming show taking place in the Hunter: The Reckoning setting, making its debut in October

World of Darkness, the transmedia entertainment brand behind fantasy horror properties like Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and more, announced the second season of New York By Night will debut on September 30 at 7:00 PM Pacific on World of Darkness Twitch channel. Running in parallel to the first season’s Anarch story, season two introduces a fresh cast of fledgling Camarilla vampires and their struggles with navigating the sect’s power structures. The brand also announced that Hunter’s Garage, a liveplay series using Hunter: The Reckoning fifth edition starring Martyna “Outstar” Zych as Storyteller, makes its debut in October.

Both streaming actual play shows anchor the Month of Darkness, an annual celebration of the World of Darkness community in October.

New York By Night is a Vampire: The Masquerade actual play series set in World of Darkness and powered by the V5 tabletop RPG system. The series follows two coteries of young vampires as they struggle to find their place amid the dark schemes of New York City’s undead underworld. While the first season focused on a group of Anarchs, season two explores the Camarilla Court and the faction’s tight grip on New York City. Both the Anarch and Camarilla coteries begin their stories separately but are on a collision course; carrying on the parallel narrative innovation the team pioneered in L.A. by Night.

“The community response to season one of New York By Night has been wildly enthusiastic, and we are eager to share the next chapter in the story,” Jason Carl, Brand Marketing Manager for World of Darkness and Storyteller for New York By Night, said. “The Camarilla, with its bloody conspiracies and deceptive intrigues, gives us a distinctly different story in our continuation.”

Season two of New York By Night includes returning cast members to the World of Darkness universe as well as several newcomers fit for the brooding Vampire: The Masquerade setting. The Camarilla cast lineup includes:

  • Jason Carl as the Storyteller: The iconic host and creator of L.A. By Night returns to the role of Storyteller for New York by Night’s second season. The Storyteller guides the cast and directs the story as the vampire Coteries

  • Cynthia Marie as Coco: Coco is a Lasombra who is discovering that her clan’s place and her own unlife in New York is anything but assured.

  • Noura Ibrahim as Khalida: Khalida is a Ventrue con artist who has ambitions to climb the Camarilla’s dangerously slippery political ladder.

  • Michelle Nguyen Bradley as Kiem: Kiem is a Toreador who is trying to escape a past that refuses to let her go.

  • Xander Jeanneret as Brawn: Looking to prove himself in the Camaralla’s unforgiving hierarchy, Brawn is a Nosferatu boxer who is constantly battling his own inner demons.

Viewers can expect special Vampire guests to appear throughout the series.

World of Darkness has at least three seasons of New York by Night scheduled.
