A tiny game jam project about scaling fish has somehow become one of Steam’s weirdest upcoming indie success stories: over 210,000 demo players, 97% positive ratings, close to 115,000 wishlists, millions of YouTube views, and even a wave of AI-made knockoffs. Now, Canadian team Glass Gecko Games and publisher Pretty Soon are bringing Scale the Depths to Steam on May 28th, 2026.
