William “draken” Sundin & Joachim Rittfeldt joins Mentalytics

Mentalytics expand their efforts in the esports industry - signing former CS:GO awper turned Valorant pro, William “draken” Sundin, and esport advisor Joachim Rittfeldt Hofvenschiöld to their Advisory Board.

Esports is an industry where connections are key. Joachim and William are therefore excellent additions with that in mind. William has until recently been a pro player in CS:GO. He’s played for a multitude of Swedish teams under organisations such as Epsilon, NiP, fnatic, Ancient, and GamerLegion. With Valorant’s release last year “draken” is now signed to Guild Esports, a team that is consistently fighting amongst the best in Europe. Thus Mentalytics and William are both eagerly awaiting Valorant’s API so that he and his teammates can utilize the focus training software.

“We are thrilled to have "draken" on board. With the combination of CS:GO experience and Valorant knowledge he will help us improve the user experience for the entire esports industry.” says Charlie Ohlén, CEO Mentalytics

Joachim has since its infancy, been in and around the esports industry. During the years he’s built a strong network with organizations, players and businesses in gaming and esports. Joachim has also served as an advisor to and helped many other startups grow in the market.

“Having a well connected person like Joachim on board is key in order to penetrate the market. Through his network we’ll be able to not only gather feedback but also attract partnerships and develop relationships with key players in the industry.” says Charlie Ohlén, CEO Mentalytics.

Mentalytics latest product, Focus Mentalytics is a software platform combined with a built in focus training game. To use the platform one must also own an EEG headband. The headband has sensors which measure electrical signals coming from the brain, for example focus. The intention is that players such as “draken” will become aware of how their focus works, attain a level of control over it, and thus make improvements to their in-game performance.

“Mentalytics is one of the most exciting projects currently in the esports market. I’m glad to be a part of this new holistic way of looking at esports performance; Focus matters and it’s very possible to train” says Joachim Rittfeldt Hofvenschiöld.

With Focus Mentalytics, the goal is to meld mental training with gaming. Allowing statistics to provide a deeper understanding and analysis of the various scenarios’ gamers are presented with in-game.

“I have completed the platform's 30 day training program and it has really made a difference in my ability to understand my focus. I can now turn it on in a more deliberate way than before. I’m looking forward to helping bring Focus Mentalytics to the esports market.” says William “Draken” Sundin.
