The Six One Indie Showcase kicked off the summer showcase season with a look at 48 innovative indie games from developers and publishers around the world, as well as the introduction of Six One Publishing.
The event kicked off with Petey's Play Now Pre-Show, shining a light on 7 overlooked indie gems released earlier in the year. The main Showcase featured world premieres, exclusive announcements, and exciting updates across a carefully curated selection of 41 upcoming games.
This season’s showcase includes:
The world premiere looks at Truth Scrapper, Dinoblade, Scratch The Cat, CARIMARA - Beneath the forlorn limbs, Cast n Chill, Blue Ridge Hunting, and BattleVersus
Showcase debuts from indies such as One Way Home, Quite a Ride, Bobo Bay, and many others
Fresh looks from titles such as Mouse: P.I. For Hire, Hotel Barcelona, and Future Vibe Check
The debut of Six One Publishing, Six One Indie's brand new boutique publishing label (full press release)
And even more indies with exclusive news, brand new trailers, and demo drops
Audiences can now head to the official showcase homepage to explore hands-on previews and developer interviews from the Six One Indie editorial team. Additionally, the Six One Indie Showcase Steam event will run through Monday, May 26th, featuring 150+ wishlist-worthy indies, including exclusive new demos and special event discounts.
After receiving over 1,300 submissions, the Six One Indie team has curated a lineup that showcases the creativity and boundary-pushing innovation of the indie scene. Since its debut in 2022, the Showcase has featured more than 150 indie titles, with a strong emphasis on uplifting the people behind the games and supporting developers who may not have access to traditional industry platforms. What began as a grassroots passion project has grown into a professionally produced premiere event with direct marketing support for each participant, all while staying true to its core values of zero barriers and zero cost for participating developers.
