Resident Evil Survival Unit Announces Collaboration Event with CAPCOM’s Monster Hunter Series
Aniplex Inc. today announced an upcoming limited-time collaboration event between Resident Evil Survival Unit, the mobile strategy game co-developed with JOYCITY Corporation, and CAPCOM’s globally acclaimed Monster Hunter series. The collaboration event is scheduled to begin on July 2, 2026.
First released in 2004, the Monster Hunter series is a globally popular hunting action franchise in which players cooperate to track and defeat massive creatures across expansive natural environments. The series is widely recognized for establishing cooperative multiplayer hunting as a core gameplay experience and has built a dedicated worldwide fanbase.
This collaboration will introduce Monster Hunter–inspired elements into the post-apocalyptic world of Resident Evil Survival Unit, offering a limited-time crossover experience that integrates the appeal of large-scale monster encounters with the game’s strategic systems.
