Guardian Tales Celebrates Its First Anniversary With a Monumental Update
Kakao Games is thrilled to announce a series of celebratory events and fantastic rewards in the extraordinary world of Guardian Tales to coincide with its one-year anniversary.
Released globally in July of 2020, the classic adventure RPG developed by Silicon Valley-based Kong Studios has already made waves in mobile gaming circles, most recently being named a finalist for Pocket Gamer’s 2021 People’s Choice Award alongside some of the biggest names in the industry.
Amongst the special gifts and exciting events marking Guardian Tales' one-year milestone, are 100 free chances to summon 3-star heroes or weapons, and enough in-game currency to max out a favorite hero by completing anniversary road map events. Completing all in-gassions over the 28-day celebration will allow players to earn rewards, including a Nari Super Costume, up to 200 Hero Crystals, up to 20 Legendary Awakening Stones, up to 200,000 EXP, the Epic Limit Breaking Hammer, and many Strengthening Hammers. Players who log in daily will earn attendance rewards for a total of 400 Hero Crystals, 4,000,000 EXP, 80 Awakening Dungeon Boxes (Lv.70), 800,000 Gold, and 40 Legendary Awakening Stones if they meet full attendance requirements for the event.
A new Charity System feature added to the Merch Forge will guarantee unique merch items for players who meet special conditions, as well as a potential Super Costume.
Events held via the official Guardian Tales SNS channels and website will offer those who visit for 8 consecutive days a word puzzle, riddles, and more, with those solving them at the end of the eight-day period receiving a special prize.
