Fight against disease and disorder in Skábma - Snowfall, available today on PC

PID Games, in conjunction with Sunsoft and developer Red Stage Entertainment, today release the latest game to their catalogue of fan-revered titles, Skábma - Snowfall.

Follow Áilu, a traditional Sámi herder who, after losing track of one of his reindeer, discovers a disease is consuming his homelands and must uncover the mystery of the rot to save his people. Using an ancient drum imbued with powerful magic, Áilu must unearth the abilities of his ancestors and learn to heal the injured, and ultimately the world.

Throughout the course of gameplay, players will meet with ancient familiar spirits who will assist Áilu in his journey; enjoy a uniquely written story showcasing northernmost indigenous people of Europe soundtracked by authentic traditional Sámi yoik-singing from award-winning Hildá Länsman.

“It’s been a privilege to work with Red Stage Entertainment and learn more about the Sámi culture and language. We’re extremely happy to bring it to the world and hopefully cast some light on it,” said Stanislas Jun Peyrat, Lead Product Manager/Producer at PID Games. “We hope that this game will spark some interest towards the Sámi culture”.
