Endless arena survival CATHEDRAL 3-D coming to Steam October 28th 2020

FEARDEMIC, a wholly owned subsidiary of BLOOBER TEAM S.A, and Mateusz Belicki (aka UNFINISHED GAMES), an independent development studio based Gdansk, Poland, are happy to reveal the release date of their old-school FPS CATHEDRAL 3-D.

CATHEDRAL 3-D, the anticipated retro-looking single-player endless arena shooter inspired by the likes of Quake, Devil Daggers and Catacomb 3-D, is bound to hit the digital shelves of Steam on October the 28th for an SRP of $4.99 / £3.99 / £3.99. Furthermore, the game will be launched with a 10% discount during the initial week.

At launch, CATHEDRAL 3-D players will be able to enjoy the endless arena mode, compete for the best time in a global leaderboard, unlock several achievements, and discover a super-secret way to actually beat the game!

Mateusz Belicki, founder of Unfinished Games and creator of Cathedral 3-D, stated: “We are really excited to finally be able to announce the launch date. A few close friends and I have worked tirelessly for the past two years to build this game from scratch, on its very own game engine. Cathedral 3-D doesn't really try to copy the old retro FPS games. The aim behind the design of Cathedral 3-D was to start with design choices of retro FPS games and explore how they can be altered to provide a novel game experience. We can’t wait to see how people interact with it and of course we hope that everyone enjoys the game.”

Giorgio Crosali, Marketing Manager at Feardemic, said “We fell in love with Cathedral 3-D because we simply couldn’t stop playing it. We are confident that we are not the only ones that will love this game - its fast and extremely challenging gameplay is appealing for any lover of old-school shooters looking for a new challenge. It’s been a privilege working with Mateusz on the final preparations, and we are now ready to unleash the monster on the world.”
