To mark the first anniversary of Dying Light: The Beast, Techland is looking back at the community’s first year in Castor Woods with UNFOLDED - a snapshot of how players explored, fought and survived their way through the wilderness.
And what a year it has been. Players have logged 52 million sessions and spent the equivalent of 11,000 years in-game, while eliminating 8.6 billion enemies along the way. From fighting for survival to embracing their inner Beast, the community has left quite a mark on Castor Woods.
But don’t just take our word for it - see how the first year of Dying Light: The Beast unfolded below.

The anniversary celebrations are also still underway, with more ways for the community to join in - including the physical edition of Dying Light: The Beast, now available for pre-order for players looking to make room for Castor Woods on their shelf.
