Digital Extremes hosted its last Soulframe Devstream before TennoCon on Friday, focusing on the latest Soulframe Preludes update for its ongoing closed Alpha playtest, arriving for free in June for players on PC. The dev team showcased major mechanical changes around crafting and loot, fresh features like trading and in-game mail, new weapons and enemies, as well as other quality-of-life improvements to address ongoing community feedback.
Digital Extremes launched its latest Soulframe Closed Alpha update, Preludes 13: A Triquetra of Virtues, for free following its first Devstream of the year. The development team introduced a full rework of player stat progression and unveiled new weapons, enhanced face and hair customization, a new mission type, The Organ, as well as a free-roaming Bromius fight variant for players to discover amidst the overworld, among other quality-of-life improvements.
