Undying Joins the Steam Summer Game Festival with a Free Demo
Skystone Games, the new development and publishing studio formed by industry icons David Brevik and Bill Wang, is joining the Steam Summer Game Festival with Undying, Vanimals’ unique take on the zombie apocalypse. As part of the Steam Summer Game Festival, Undying will be showcasing a playable demo from June 16th until June 22nd to give players a taste of what’s to come when the game launches in 2021.
In addition, Vanimals will be hosting a massive Q&A about Undying on June 17th from 9pm EST (6pm PST) until the devs either get too tired to keep talking or they lose their voices. You’ll be able to participate on either Twitch or YouTube, as well as the Steam page itself.
“Undying is something very near and dear to our hearts.” said Vanimals founder Kun Wang. “We believe there’s room for a game in the zombie genre that pulls at your heartstrings as much as it thrills you, and we can’t wait for everyone to try the demo this week during the Steam Summer Game Festival.”
Undying, the upcoming title from Vanimals, tells the story of mother Anling and her son Cody. Infected by a zombie bite, Anling's days are numbered. She must now fight to survive, not for herself but her young son, Cody. Players will strive to ensure Cody's survival in this zombie infested world by protecting him, searching for safety, and teaching him valuable skills, at any cost. It will arrive in 2021 on PC, Nintendo Switch, XBOX and PlayStation platforms, Android, and iOS.
