Steam Next Fest: Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor and SpellRogue Playable Now
With the arrival of Steam Next Fest next week, developer-turned-publisher Ghost Ship Publishing has released two demos for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor and SpellRogue, giving players the opportunity to try out both of these eagerly anticipated titles. Both games are currently available to play ahead of Steam Next Fest where they will also be featured between October 9th - 16th, offering you a chance to check them out before they release.
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor: Developed by Funday Games, this Deep Rock Galactic spin-off game evolves the shoot’em up genre by adding destructible environments and moment-to-moment decision-making, pitting miners against hordes of terrifying bugs in the process. The Steam Next Fest demo will allow players to take up the role of Scout, one of the original Deep Rock Galactic player classes, to explore the Crystalline Caverns biome on three different hazard levels and with multiple mod unlocks.
SpellRogue: From Guidelight Games, SpellRogue blends deck building with roguelike gameplay, as players will have to use their wits to overcome enemies with a variety of powerful spells. The Steam Next Fest demo allows access to the Water Wizard character, equipped with three loadouts, tons of spells, and two entire Acts from the game to tackle - as well as four intimidating bosses and forty nail-biting enemy encounters to overcome.
