Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven Launch Prison Architect: Future Tech Pack for PC and Consoles Today
Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven today launched Prison Architect: Future Tech Pack, the ninth content update for the prison management simulator. This mini-expansion allows players to manage their compounds with high-tech features and greater security. Prison Architect: Future Tech Pack is available now for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 for a suggested retail price of 2.99 USD / 2.09 GBP / 2.99 EUR.
Future Tech Pack gives players an upgrade to the tools used to build and manage their compounds. With controllable searchlights, keycard-activated doors, and even two robot dogs, Subwoofer and Byte, more is at players’ disposal than ever to keep compounds secure. Inmates' and guards’ uniforms even receive a futuristic design update. To put this heightened security to the test, players can take the perspective of an inmate in Escape Mode in an attempt to escape the compounds they have created.

Advanced Searchlights
This technological marvel tracks misbehaving inmates. Equipped with a CCTV camera, a dramatic cone of light, and a siren, nothing will go unnoticed. The best thing? You can operate the searchlights yourself!
New floors, futuristic doors, and keycards
Structural updates, devices, and robot-dogs
Say goodbye to concrete walls and welcome Glass. With Glass walls, you can keep an eye on your inmates at all times, and if that is not enough they can also wear a Tracking Belt. Follow their locations using the tracking menu, monitors, and routers. If you deem it necessary, there is also an Electrified Fence at your disposal. Lastly, we have reworked the design of inmates' and guards’ uniforms, for a more futuristic look. And don’t forget Subwoofer and Byte, the two new robot guard dogs.
A free update, “The Slam,” arrived today alongside Future Tech Pack. Available to all Prison Architect owners, this update introduces quality-of-life improvements, more categories for your Staff breaks, a Visitor Only zone, and more.
