Frostpunk 2 available now on consoles and Xbox Game Pass

Frostpunk 2, the latest installment in 11 bit studios' city-builder and society survival franchise, is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass. Having launched to critical acclaim on PC last fall, Frostpunk 2 now shepherds console players back to the harsh, frozen world of New London, in a reimagined experience complete with a tailored UI and all-new radial menus to ensure a smooth transition to gamepad. Frostpunk 2 has been redesigned for consoles to put power-and its consequences-directly in players’ hands.

Diving even deeper into the post-apocalyptic abyss, Frostpunk 2 builds upon the foundations that made its predecessor a triumph. It thrusts players into a world of unyielding realities and complex social dilemmas within an ever-expanding city. As Stewards, players will face hardships, tough decisions, and ideological conflicts. When the sirens pierce the cold air with their chilling wail, it signals one thing: you’ve failed your people.

With a broader scope and expansion in every aspect of the gameplay mechanics, Frostpunk 2 escalates the tension as you steer the City and its inhabitants into an uncertain future. The console version allows players to guide the politics and people of New London with the palms of their hands, on controllers and thumbsticks alike.

Frostpunk 2 is now available on Xbox Series X|S, also in Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, and PC, with full controller support introduced alongside the console launch. Two collectible physical editions-Icebreaker and Whiteout-crafted in collaboration with Skybound Games, will hit shelves on November 18th, bringing with them a diorama, novella, artbook, deluxe upgrade, and exclusive keepsakes from New London’s frozen archives.
