The new expansion introduces the formidable corsair captain Valerie and her cursed navigator Vesper in search of forgotten treasures hidden deep beneath the ocean floor. By assembling scattered Charts, boarding the legendary vessel The Sovereign, and descending in the Allflame-powered Bathysphere, players will explore dangerous Voyage expeditions where valuable relics, fearsome sea creatures and long-lost secrets await.
The expansion debuts the new Voyage league mechanic and Allflame Crafting system, welcomes the Mercenaries of Trarthus as a permanent core feature alongside the Scion's new Luminary Ascendancy, and delivers sweeping improvements across character progression and the endgame. Players can experience redesigned socket and spellcasting systems, explore Atlas Anomalies inspired by iconic Path of Exile mechanics, and tackle extensive endgame overhauls to the Abyss and Legion.
Launching alongside the expansion are the new Plague and Remidus Supporter Packs, featuring a collection of exclusive cosmetic effects, armour sets, hideouts, pets and more, with all cosmetics fully compatible with Path of Exile 2:
Celebrate the Launch with Twitch Drops
To celebrate the launch of Path of Exile: Curse of the Allflame, Grinding Gear Games is kicking off a week-long Twitch Drops campaign beginning at 1:00 PM PDT on July 24. Throughout launch week, players can earn exclusive in-game cosmetics simply by watching their favourite Path of Exile creators on Twitch, including the Nautical Explorer Back Attachment and the Allflame Crafting Bench.
Both rewards are purely cosmetic and do not affect character power or progression.
