Yaga and Cardpocalypse Nominated for Webby’s in 24th Annual Webby Awards

Independent games publisher Versus Evil today announced that two of its published Indie titles are Webby Award nominees for the Internet's two most coveted awards: The Webby Award and The Webby People's Voice Award. The Webby Awards is the Internet’s most respected symbol of success and this year the 24th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 13,000 entries from nearly all 50 US states and 70 countries worldwide.

Cardpocalypse, a card-battling RPG about being a kid in the 90s by Indie developer Gambrinous, is a Webby award nominee in Games for Best User Experience, it also picked up a Webby Honoree in Games for Strategy & Simulation.

RPG game Yaga, a hand-drawn action-RPG with a humorous take on Slavic folklore by Breadcrumbs Interactive has also been nominated for Best Adventure game category in the 24th Annual Webby Awards. Hailed as the “Internet’s Highest Honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet.

Last year, people cast over 3 million votes from 230+ countries and territories worldwide, and the site was visited by over 5 million people
