Wuthering Waves Version 2.7 Available Now

Kuro Games released a new update titled Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides for its award-winning, story-rich, open-world action role playing game Wuthering Waves. The update features two new resonators, Qiuyuan and Galbrena, new quests, weapons and events that appeal to all players.

The Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides update introduces two new 5-Star Resonators, Galbrena, a cold and decisive “Discord Slayer” who hunts Solaris, and Qiuyuan, a former senior agent of Mingting’s Internal Security Agency.

  • Maintenance Compensation: Astrite x300, Crystal Solvent x2

  • Compensation Eligibility: Create a character and unlock the Mail feature before 2025-10-09 04:00 (UTC+8). The compensation can be claimed before the next version update.

    • In the event that the maintenance is extended, the dev team will issue a follow-up notice and adjust the compensation accordingly.

  • Bug Fixes Compensation: Astrite x300

  • Compensation Eligibility: Create a character and unlock the Mail feature before 10/09/2025 04:00 (UTC+8). The compensation can be claimed before the next version update.

• New Resonators

  • Galbrena - 5-Star Resonator (Fusion / Pistols)

    • Galbrena is cold and decisive, she is the “Discord Slayer” who hunts across Solaris and the same “Fiend of Ever-burning Flame” spoken of in whispers.

    • Galbrena’s Combat Roles include: Main Damage Dealer, Heavy Attack DMG

    • Obtainable through ‘From Ashes’ Featured Resonator Convene.

  • Qiuyuan - 5-Star Resonator (Aero / Sword)

    • Qiuyuan is a former senior agent of Mingting’s Internal Security Agency. Though enmity filled his younger days, loyalty defined his later years. However, scapegoated for a murder, he is now but a blind swordsman wandering the world alone.

    • Qiuyuan’s Combat Roles include: Concerto Efficiency, Heavy Attack DMG

    • Obtainable through the ‘Wanderer Knows No Far and Near’ Featured Resonator Convene.

• New Locations

  • Sanguis Plateaus - Three Heroes’ Crest

    • The highest peak in the Sanguis Plateaus, named for both its unique summit and the three Heroes of Heroes - Fabius, Altilus, and Valeria, who once stood there.

    • Accessible in Version 2.7 upon unlocking the Sanguis Plateaus.

  • Plane of Dark Tide - Journeying Paradise

    • Another world concealed within the Dark Tide. From its depth resound the whispers of the ancient “Divinity,” the origin of all malice and fear.

  • Flamewings’s Shadow (3pcs Set): Dealing Echo Skill DMG increases Heavy Attack Crit. Rate by 20% for 6s. Dealing Heavy Attack DMG increases Echo Skill Crit. Rate by 20% for 6s. While both effects are active, gain 16% Fusion DMG Bonus.
