We Were Here Tomorrow Releases Demo With Steam Next Fest
Total Mayhem Games has released their Steam demo today for We Were Here Tomorrow as part of Steam Next Fest. We Were Here Tomorrow launches later this year and is available to wishlist on Steam, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S.
In the demo, players wake up trapped in separate pods inside the Norcek Facility, surrounded by strange machinery and unfamiliar technology. A calm, confident voice guides the two explorers as they are pushed through a series of assignments that are keys to unravelling the mysterious story surrounding the facility.
Like previous games in the series, communication is everything. Players are often split up, each seeing different clues, rooms, and puzzle mechanics. With only a walkie-talkie connecting them, progress depends on clearly describing what you see and figuring things out together before the facility throws something new at you.
Building on the franchise’s signature escape-room-inspired gameplay, We Were Here Tomorrow introduces new character abilities, larger-scale environments, and a more narrative-driven mystery set in a retro-futuristic setting.
We Were Here Tomorrow Key Features
Two-player co-op – Solving these mind-bending puzzles takes two. Communicate through your walkie-talkies and become each other’s eyes, ears, and mind to overcome challenges.
Asymmetrical puzzles – Each Explorer experiences different areas and information, meaning success depends on sharing clues and working together.
Distinct character abilities – Beyond communication tools, both Explorers have their own abilities that must be used to overcome obstacles and progress.
A mysterious story to unravel – Explore a retro-futuristic facility filled with uncharted areas, advanced technology, and hidden secrets.
Teamwork and friendship – Success depends on how well you and your partner rely on one another when it matters most.
