Warhammer 40k Warpforge unleashes the Black Legion onto Steam as part of limited-time demo

Warhammer Warpforge, the upcoming collectible digital card game set in the grim darkness of Games Workshop’s iconic 40k universe, is making another exciting reveal on Steam this week as the game continues its journey from development to launch.

Developers Everguild are excited to announce that 40k fans will be able to play as the infamous Black Legion and discover a new draft mode during this time-limited demo, running as part of Steam's Digital Tabletop Fest from March 23rd to March 27th, with Abaddon the Despoiler leading the charge.

The Black Legion will offer players a devastating arsenal of game mechanics to erase their enemies from the battlefield, befitting the twisted and corrupted versions of the Emperor's finest warriors. The Black Legion are the latest arrivals in the game, following prior limited-demo tests of Necrons, Orks, and Ultramarines. In addition to this faction debut, the game will be updated with a new game mode - draft mode, perfect for those brave enough to test the RNG powers above in PvP action with completely random decks.

The latest Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge demo is free to download now and is available to play until March 27th. Warpforge is set to launch in 2023 on Steam and other platforms will follow, including a mobile version with full cross-platform support.
