The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante is a deep, dramatic, text-based RPG set in a grim medieval fantasy world, told through the pages of the protagonist’s journal.
At the heart of the story is a little boy born into a harsh world full of injustice and suffering, where power belongs to the nobility and each person’s fate is ordained by divine law. You will follow Sir Brante’s life from birth to death, making many difficult choices that will affect both the hero and the Empire as a whole.

By the will of the gods, society in this world is divided into estates known as “lots.” The nobility rules, the clergy guides souls to the true path, and the peasants are expected to labor and suffer without complaint for the good of the Empire. This is the divine order by which every person must live. You, Sir Brante, were born a commoner, and so the harshest fate awaits you. And it falls to you to discover whether these rigid traditions can be challenged.

The story is written by your hand. Every choice affects the hero’s character, his abilities, his relationships with those close to him, and the Empire itself. The world will react and change depending on your decisions. There are no clearly good or bad paths here, but every action has unavoidable consequences that may catch up with you years later, changing the future of the entire Empire.

The plot is full of fateful encounters and events, and every decision will create new branching paths, steering your story in a different direction. Your first playthrough will take more than 15 hours, and only you can decide who to become in this story: a humble commoner, an inquisitor, or the one who burns the Empire’s old order to ash in the fires of rebellion.
