Sultan’s Game Launches Official Mod Support

Today marks a major milestone for Sultan’s Game as it launches official mod support, empowering players to create, share, and play custom content. The new system supports a wide range of modifications, from visual changes to new cards and new storylines.

The modding tools are fully integrated with Steam Workshop, allowing players to upload and download mods with a single click. The system is designed to evolve based on community feedback, and today's update is just the beginning of a broader effort to expand what’s possible in the game.

In parallel, Double Cross Studio and the publisher 2P Games are preparing another Major Update and one DLC.

The upcoming content will include a short novel written by Lyu Munan, Double Cross Studio writer, and set in the twisted world of Sultan’s Game, and in-game content inspired by the crowdfunding community.
The in-game additions are based on a series of questions posted to backers during the campaign, blending community input with the developer’s unique taste. Players can expect a brand new character, several weapons and other items. Sneak peeks of these additions will be posted via Double Cross social media profiles.

Additionally, work continues to refine the English localisation, with improvements aimed at better capturing the tone and humour of the original writing.

The release of mod support and the forthcoming content updates signal a new phase in the evolution of Sultan’s Game, with both developer-led and community-driven content shaping its future.
