SpeedRunners creators launch demo for 'Sprint City' today on Steam

The original creators of the popular competitive platformer SpeedRunners today released the first playable demo for Sprint City, a new high-speed multiplayer parkour game coming to Steam in Q1 2026. The demo includes a limited map to explore, player-created challenge options, Steam friend invites, a sneak peek at the pumping soundtrack, and a range of fixes and upgrades driven by feedback from previous community playtests.

Sprint City is built on movement and momentum and set in a colourful solarpunk city designed for on-foot travel. Players can sprint, wall-run, grapple, and swing across rooftops, learning routes and refining their lines as they move through the city. Taking place in a shared online world where players can explore, race, and compete together, friends can stay connected as a group wherever they go, making it easy to jump between challenges or free-roam sessions. Steam players can also invite friends to join instantly via browser play, allowing anyone to try the game without needing to download it.
