SIDRALGAMES, Selecta Play, and Entalto Publishing Reveal HYPERWIRED
Independent developer SIDRALGAMES is partnering with SelectaPlay and Entalto Publishing to officially reveal HYPERWIRED, a thrilling 2D roguelike set to electrify the gaming world in 2026. This announcement confirms a simultaneous global launch for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in summer 2026.
HYPERWIRED redefines the classic top-down shooter with its unique "tethered" core mechanic. In a galaxy plunged into darkness, players pilot specialized ships that must physically plug into power sockets to recharge weapons and systems. While connected, you gain immense firepower but are restricted by the length of your cable, creating a high-stakes tactical balance between staying powered up and dodging relentless enemy swarms.
The game delivers a deep roguelike gameplay loop where every run is a new challenge. To survive, players must navigate procedurally generated sectors, master a rechargeable slow-mo system, and engage in intense combat against several massive bosses that guard the end of each galaxy. With over 250 bullet modifier combinations and 40+ upgrades available to customize their build, players will need to use their brains to come up with the best strategy to destroy their enemies and advance in the galaxy. In order to do so, they will have to choose from 10+ distinct ships, each with its own set of attributes, and rescue stranded pilots to build a supporting army.
