Shinonome Abyss: The Maiden Exorcist
A strategic roguelike horror game in which the player becomes “Yono,” a Miko (Maiden Exorc
ist) who is searching for her missing exorcist brother and must take on a mansion where many mononoke are waiting for her. Even those who are not good at action can enjoy this game due to its strategic elements. The mansion that Yono must search is a terrifying place where the very structure of the mansion changes each time she enters. What awaits Yono when she opens the sliding doors of the mansion?
Sound is the key strategy to succeed in the game. You can identify the type of mononoke by listening to the noises coming from neighbouring rooms, or you can lure mononoke into a trap room with your voice in order to defeat them.
Inside the mansion, which changes its structure each time the player enters, players will find a wide variety of mononoke. Sometimes, a good strategy is to not only defeat the mononoke, but also to make good use of them as well.
The protagonist/miko Yono will be voiced by Akiho Suzumoto
This is Akiho Suzumoto and I will be voicing Yono!
I feel very privileged to be able to voice the protagonist Yono-chan!
I portrayed her while feeling her serene and internally fiery personality.
Since this is a horror action game, there is a constant undercurrent of suspence and I remember being a little nervous during the recording because it was different from usual.
