Kuro Game’s sci-fi action-RPG Punishing: Gray Raven has proven itself one of the coolest places to be this summer, racking up over one million downloads since its Global debut. Now the war for this shattered earth is about to get downright cold, as the Gray Raven team travels to the arctic in search of buried and long-frozen truths. The Frozen Darkness update is out today, and free to all players.
The Frozen Darkness update brings several exciting pieces of new content to the game, including a new story chapter, S-Rank Construct, boss battle and more. In order to survive this harsh new environment, the Gray Raven unit will have to battle against the powerful Ascendant - Rosetta - but players won’t have to face this spectacular boss battle alone. Formerly a deadly enemy, the mysterious Construct known as Alpha joins the Gray Raven squad, revealing her true identity.
Shortly after the Frozen Darkness update goes live on PGR’s global servers, players will be able to participate in a themed limited-time event to unlock Alpha and add her to their squad. Commandants will have between August 4th 7:00am UTC and September 1st, 7:59am complete their mission and recruit this powerful new offensive-type squadmate.
Commandants wanting their troops to look their best on the battlefield will also be able to pick up two special Coatings for Alpha at a discounted price. The Final Journey and Gray Feathers coatings will be available at a 30% discount from August 4th, 8am UTC until September 8th, 6.59am.
The Frozen Darkness update also brings profitable new opportunities for Commandants. Those participating in the Arctic Night, Azure Scar, Interlude and new Co-op scenarios will be able to collect a generous number of black cards, training materials and supplies. Special currency items can also be earned and exchanged for character fragments, gifts and more at the Arctic Shop.
