Pimbolas Blends Chaos, Soccer, and Fun

No Two Matches Are Ever the Same
Pimbolas goes far beyond traditional foosball by combining different arenas, characters, power-ups, and modifiers to create completely unpredictable matches.
Players can compete using giant balls, square balls, fireballs, explosive bombs, ice balls, coconuts, crabs, giant planets, and many other gameplay elements that constantly change the flow of each match.
According to the developers, one of their main goals was to ensure that every match creates unexpected situations, encouraging new strategies and plenty of improvisation.
The Best Experience Is Playing with Friends
While Pimbolas also features an Arcade Mode for players who prefer to play solo against the CPU, Nano Knight Studio believes the game truly shines in local multiplayer for up to four players.
The combination of simple controls, fast-paced matches, and dozens of modifiers creates chaotic situations that make every game feel unique. The team's goal is for players to experience excitement, competition, and, above all, plenty of laughter.
According to the developers, Pimbolas was designed to be the kind of game that brings friends together on the couch, sparks friendly rivalries, and turns a single match into hours of fun.
Inspired by Great Party Games
To shape Pimbolas' identity, the team drew inspiration from some of the most entertaining multiplayer games of recent years, including Boomerang Fu, Mario Strikers, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros., and Mario Tennis.
According to the developers, players who enjoy games such as Overcooked, Gang Beasts, Castle Crashers, Party Animals, and Boomerang Fu will likely find Pimbolas familiar, while still offering a unique gameplay experience.
By reimagining foosball as a fully arcade-style game packed with power-ups, modifiers, and unpredictable matches, the studio set out to create an experience that is easy for anyone to pick up, yet remains engaging even after dozens of matches thanks to the countless gameplay combinations available in every round.
Pimbolas Crossovers with Other Games and Gaming Personalities
In addition to its core content, Pimbolas launches with a special collaboration between Brazilian studios. Players will be able to unlock characters inspired by Shard Squad, the bullet heaven game developed by The Root Studios and published by Nuntius Games.
This collaboration marks the beginning of Nano Knight Studio's plan to expand the Pimbolas universe through partnerships with other indie games and well-known figures from the gaming community, making every match even more fun and customizable.
According to the developers, more collaborations are already in the works and will be announced in the future, introducing even more playable characters while supporting the team's goal of keeping the game fresh and constantly evolving.
