Opera GX launches brand new streamer-friendly features to further enhance user experiences on the platform
After previously announcing Logitech LIGHTSYNC integration into Opera GX earlier this year, Opera is back with two more brand new, albeit slightly less dazzling, additions to the world’s first gaming browser.
GX Profiles lets users make custom versions of the Opera GX browser that can each offer a unique and tailored experience. Whether that be to stream, study, or just browse the web with no distractions. Every unique profile will appear as a separate logo on the PC taskbar and can be modified with ease to create the perfect browsing experience for any kind of GX user.
GX Profiles comes with four profiles by default, focusing on Streamers, reduced functionality, the default GX experience, and ‘Rogue’, a profile that operates in a similar manner to incognito mode in other browsers.
The second addition to Opera GX in this update is Video Pickup, which allows users to watch videos across both desktop and mobile versions of GX with no interruptions at the press of a button. Video Pickup can also be used to turn a mobile device into a companion screen for a PC!
