NOVA DRIFT: New Updates Available on Steam, iOS & Android
The ship-crafting roguelike space shooter released recently on mobile storefronts, and new updates are available now to all players (including Steam).
Nova Drift distills the mechanical depth and strategy of an Action-RPG into classic arcade space combat. Control an endlessly evolving bio-mechanical ship, face legions of strange and deadly foes, and ride the wake of a dying star across the void.
The Blade weapon allows you to deploy a shuriken-like construct that shreds targets, fires upon them, and returns to you. Like all weapons, you can augment its powers with modular upgrades:
The Splinter Shot mod makes it break into many sub-projectiles when destroyed, increasing its area of effect.
Adding the Self Destruction mod causes the blade and all of its splinters to explode, damaging nearby targets.
Charged Shot lets you build up a massive projectile that scales this combo further.
The Infuse mod makes the blade discharge lightning each time it hits, which is ideal, because blade hits constantly while spinning against targets.
Finally, combining this with the Architect Body means you can deploy only one construct at a time, but it makes it bigger and more powerful. It also allows you to detonate your construct, which means you can control the timing of your combo with precision.
