No Tricks, Just Waltz and Jam Treats! (Okay, Maybe a Few Tricks)
Flyway Games invites you to get into the Halloween spirit with a limited-time Halloween playtest for Waltz and Jam, available on Steam from October 29 to November 11 through a special Gleam activity. Available on a first-come, first-serve basis, this spooky treat gives you a first look at the previously unreleased Chapter 2, which you’ll find is very appropriately-themed. As an extra treat, five lucky participants will be randomly selected to receive Steam gift cards as a small token of appreciation. And for PlayStation players, the standard Waltz and Jam demo is available on PlayStation 5 starting today.
In Waltz and Jam, you’ll take on the role of Waltz, a lost and innocent ghost traveling through a mysterious afterlife alongside his loyal spirit puppy, Jam. Together, the unlikely duo must navigate seven unique realms inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, solving environmental puzzles, battling strange creatures, uncovering hidden secrets, and discovering new abilities along the way.
Jam is more than just a companion. As Waltz and Jam progress through their journey together, the lovable spirit puppy develops incredible abilities that open new paths, help overcome obstacles, and give the pair an edge in dangerous encounters. Combined with a collection of toys left behind by legendary craftsmen, players will have plenty of creative tools at their disposal as they work toward the Gate of Judgement.

The Waltz and Jam demo is available now on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Players can experience the early areas of Waltz and Jam’s journey ahead of the game’s full launch on December 3, coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. A special, limited-time Halloween playtest is available on PC via Steam, with access distributed through a Gleam activity until November 11.
