No More Room In Hell 2 Surpasses 1 Million Units Sold + Announces Platform Offers
Independent developer Torn Banner Studios and Green Man Gaming today announced that co-op zombie survival title No More Room in Hell 2 has sold over 1 million units since its 1.0 launch on 11 August 2026, across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Following two years of Early Access development and massive performance overhauls, No More Room in Hell 2 has established itself as one of the top-performing survival horror launches in recent years, reaching a peak of nearly 16,000 concurrent players on Steam.
The title surpassed 1 million total players in its first week of launch, climbing as high as #4 on Steam's US Top Sellers chart to outrank major AAA releases including Madden NFL, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Marvel titles. It became the 4th best selling game in August on PlayStation 5 in North America, with player sentiment on Steam peaking at 90% positive this same period.
Best known for Chivalry 2, Torn Banner Studios has achieved a new studio milestone, with No More Room in Hell 2 officially becoming the developer's largest launch to date. Driven by continuous gameplay optimisations and expanding community momentum since Early Access, the co-op zombie survival title continues to deliver deep player engagement. Since its 1.0 launch, players have killed over 1.3 billion zombies across 22.2 million successful Responder extractions - averaging 19.3 hours of playtime per user to solidify the game's standing as a flagship 8-player tactical horror experience.
To celebrate this achievement, Torn Banner Studios and Green Man Gaming are offering players 25% off on Steam and the Epic Games Store throughout October. A 20% discount will follow on Playstation and XBOX Stores later this month.
