NetherWorld Demo Now Available on Nintendo Switch
SelectaPlay and the unhinged geniuses at Hungry Pixel invite you to take a long, hard look at your life decisions by stepping into Medoo’s. The free NetherWorld demo is now live on Nintendo Switch and PC, letting you sample the scuzzy chaos of this booze-soaked 2D action-adventure narrative game. Bring snacks. And maybe a therapist.
You are Medoo, a recently dumped jellyfish with a broken heart, a thirst for vodka, and a talent for getting punched in bars. Explore a world of disturbingly charming pixel art, deranged nightlife, and absolutely no emotional support. Everyone’s either selling something, hiding something, or trying to kill you. Sometimes all three.
Highlights of your inevitable descent:
Narrative Mayhem - Chat with strippers, sociopaths, cultists, and con artists as you search for something resembling meaning.
Mini-Games Galore - Box drunks, dodge bullets, and ride a mechanical tick through a roguelike dungeon. Obviously.
Boss Fights from Hell - Use guns, blades, or just pure spite to survive encounters with monsters that should not exist.
NetherWorld launches later this year on PC and Nintendo Switch, with a physical Switch edition also incoming, because nothing says “collector’s item” like emotional devastation. Nintendo Switch pre-orders are open now, and PC fans can Wishlist now. Medoo’s emotional stability depends on it.
