Major Update - 20th Century time-travel RPG ‘Reverse: 1999’ revealing new characters, free codes in 2.5 anniversary update livestream on April 4
Bluepoch today announced that Reverse: 1999, the 20th Century time-travel strategic RPG, will unveil full details for its upcoming Version 3.4 “Spring Unending” update during a special global 2.5 anniversary livestream on April 4 (at 8AM UTC-5 / 9AM Eastern / 2PM British / 3PM CEST). Fans can tune in via the game’s official YouTube channel.
The game revealed a new poster and a cute teaser introducing this new version. According to the cast list in the poster, this version will bring new characters, including Paper Heron, Cheng Heguang, Reed, and more.

The anniversary livestream will offer a first look at “Spring Unending,” including new story content inspired by Chinese martial arts, alongside gameplay updates and upcoming events. As part of the celebration, the team will also announce an abundance of free summons and drop exclusive in-game redemption codes during the broadcast. The stream will outline both phases of the update, giving players a full roadmap of what’s ahead.
Since launch, Reverse: 1999 has topped charts across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Japan, Korea, and more than 160 countries and regions worldwide and has won multiple awards including Silver and Bronze medals at the Global Music Awards 2025.
