Machine Gun Fury heads to consoles and GDC 2026
ESDigital Games today announced a new publishing partnership with Reset Games Ltd to expand the reach of its retro-inspired action title, Machine Gun Fury. ESDigital Games will oversee publishing operations globally, including the upcoming console launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, as well as continued support for the PC version.
Originally released on PC, Machine Gun Fury has gained attention for its bold revival of classic arcade military shooters. The new publishing agreement marks an important milestone for the title, enabling broader platform distribution and continued long-term support.
“We’re excited to begin this new chapter for Machine Gun Fury,” said Ilia Svanidze, Head of Marketing at ESDigital Games. “Partnering with Reset Games Ltd allows us to bring the game to new platforms, enhance current PC version and deliver the fury to even more players around the world.”
Alongside the console announcement, a substantial new PC update is now available on Steam. The update significantly expands global accessibility and enhances the overall gameplay experience. Machine Gun Fury now supports 11 additional languages - French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Polish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese - allowing players worldwide to join the frontline in their native language.
The update also introduces several interface refinements designed to improve gameplay clarity and pacing, including an updated in-game font, a redesigned XP bar, and much more. In addition, the patch delivers numerous bug fixes, gameplay polish adjustments, stability improvements, and general performance optimizations to ensure a smoother and more reliable experience for all players.
