LUDUS: Merge Arena Passes $50 Million in Net Revenue After Two Years of Steady Growth

Mobile game developer Top App Games Ltd. has announced that its strategy RPG LUDUS: Merge Arena has passed $50 million in net revenue, on gross revenue of $66 million since launch. The milestone marks two years in which the game has grown from a small soft launch into one of the most active competitive titles in its genre, now played by more than 11 million people worldwide.

The figures capture only part of the story. What stands out more is how much the game itself has changed in players’ hands. At soft launch, LUDUS offered 25 heroes. Today it has more than 100, and each one can be built and played in its own way.

A steady run of new systems has reshaped the original merge-and-battle loop. Clan Wars gave players an ability to band together, organizing the community into rival teams and driving a sharp rise in daily activity. Hero Perks let players tune individual heroes to their own style. The new Divisions system opened direct, structured competition for high-level players, where guilds attack and defend and craft decks built to counter specific opponents.

Crossover events have widened the world further, including a recent collaboration that brought characters from Corvus Belli’s Warcrow into the game.

“We soft launched with 25 heroes, and we always knew the game would find its real shape in players’ hands,” said Vladimir Markov, CEO and Studio Head of Top App Games Ltd. “Two years and more than a 100 heroes later, the people who play every day are the ones who built this game with us. Almost every system we have added started with watching how they wanted to compete.”
