CharacterBank Inc. today announced that Knights of Fiona, its new VR action RPG, will launch on Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, and Steam VR at:

  • 10:00 AM PDT, September 3, 2026

  • 1:00 PM EDT, September 3, 2026

  • 5:00 PM UTC, September 3, 2026

  • 2:00 AM JST, September 4, 2026

The game is free to start and supports cross-platform multiplayer. The Story Pass, priced at $18.99 USD, unlocks the full story. Chapters 1 through 5 will ship at launch. Chapter 6 will follow in an update later this year.

“Knights of Fiona is the result of us closely evaluating everything we heard from players from the release of RUINSMAGUS and amplifies every area they enjoyed,” said HOI, director of Knights of Fiona. “We heard players wanted more variety of weapons, more variety of levels, more NPCs and more boss battles.”

“There is a strong desire for players to experience wholly unique worlds in VR,” said Shuto Mikami, CEO of CharacterBank Inc. “With the power of new and upcoming headsets we are aiming to push the limits of what is possible and deliver a fresh narrative experience.”

About Knights of Fiona
Knights of Fiona is a full-scale VR JRPG set in Gallia, a land where thoughts become power. Players take the role of one of Fiona’s sworn knights and fight with sword, bow, and magic, solo or in a party of up to three. Meta Quest and Steam VR support full cross-play. Enemies include dragons and Formorian monsters born from lingering grudges.

The Kyoto studio previously released RUINSMAGUS. A 2026 Kickstarter and Campfire campaign raised over 6 million yen from 815 backers. A playable build was shown at BitSummit PUNCH in Kyoto last May.

Localization and Voice
The English story campaign was localized by Nob Ogasawara (Pokémon, Dragon Quest, Yakuza). Knights of Fiona is launching with both Japanese and English support, allowing the players the choice to play with dubs or subs. Fiona is voiced by Minami Tsuda in Japanese and Florence St. Leger in English.

Open beta
The open beta ran August 14–16, 2026. More than 1,600 players joined cross-platform sessions on Meta Quest and Steam VR. Feedback from that test informed final launch adjustments.
