Hell Just Got an Upgrade: Management Sim Sintopia Receives First Major Post Launch Update

The ‘Imployee Retention Update’ for Piraknights’ debut title adds a new facility, tools, balancing changes, and quality-of-life updates for the denizens of Hell to enjoy.

Piraknights Games and team17 have today revealed that Hell management sim, Sintopia has received its first major update since launch - the Imployee Retention Update. Available on Steam, and launching today on Epic, Sintopia recruits players as middle managers of Hell Incorporated, with their sole purpose in the after-life being to ‘re-educate’ sinners, resurrect the worthy, and turn eternal damnation into a well-oiled business machine.

Today’s release of the Imployee Retention Update for both Steam and Epic means players will have new tools at their disposal to torture assist souls in their care. The Souls Gate helps manage the traffic of wayward spirits, keeping them on track to their intended destination for a more expedient process. And, with the Ground Flattener and Souls Relocator, players can now permanently destroy annoying obstacles, and send souls back to the Hell Plaza without having to destroy any roads, all with the click (or two) of a button.

To make everyone’s life in Hell all that more pleasant, a host of quality-of-life improvements are also included in the Imployee Retention Update, with full details available to read here. Later today, the base game of Sintopia will also be at a 20% discount for a limited time, until 10th August.
