Glitchers Demo Available Now at the Steam Next Fest
Independent game developer and publisher PushStart Studio has announced that the demo version of Glitchers is available now in the context of the Steam Next Fest until October 20. The full game will be available on Steam soon.
Glitchers is a fast-paced, genre-blending indie game that merges hack-and-slash combat with clever puzzle mechanics to deliver a chaotic yet creative experience. Players step into the shoes of Trix, a girl trapped inside her favorite game, battling through anomalies and glitches in a quest to uncover legendary armor and defeat a vengeful villain determined to corrupt every warrior in sight.
Set in a surreal world of jagged 2D art and glitching beauty, the game contrasts sharp, low-poly designs with Trix’s organic form to emphasize her displacement in a fractured digital universe. Its energetic soundtrack-mixing medieval melodies with electronic beats-further intensifies the fusion of old and new, creating an immersive and unpredictable atmosphere.
Backed by Spcine and the São Paulo State Secretariat of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry, Glitchers has earned international recognition, including the Audience Choice Award at the BIG Indie Zone. Following showcases at Gamescom Latam, Gamescom Germany, and GDC San Francisco.
