Frame your Victory: Blades of Fire 2.0 Photo Mode Now Available in Steam Demo
Developer MercurySteam and publisher 505 Games are excited to launch a new weekly video series dedicated to Blades of Fire – Version 2.0, coming to Steam PC on May 14.
The first episode shines a light on one of the simplest yet most essential new features arriving with the 2.0 update: Photo Mode.
With Version 2.0, Blades of Fire introduces a fully featured Photo Mode that gives players complete creative freedom to capture their journey through the game’s world.
Once activated, Photo Mode offers full camera control around the character, including position, angle, height, field of view, roll, and optional grid framing.
Players can fine-tune depth of field to control focus, blur foregrounds and backgrounds, and draw attention exactly where they want.
Advanced colour tools provide precise control over exposure, contrast, and saturation, along with individual red, green, and blue channel adjustments-perfect for everything from subtle colour grading to bold, stylized looks.
A full suite of visual effects enables cinematic shots directly in-game, and Photo Mode can even be used during most cutscenes, allowing players to capture key story moments as they unfold.
From intense combat sequences to atmospheric environments and detailed character close-ups,
Photo Mode is designed to empower creativity at every stage of the adventure.
