Flame-wielding Metroidvania Nocturnal 2 launches on Steam November 10th
Indie developer Sunnyside Games is happy to announce that its upcoming flame-wielding metroidvania Nocturnal 2, the sequel to its side-scrolling platformer Nocturnal, will launch on PC via Steam on November 10th, priced at €9.99 / $9.99 / £7.99, with a 10% launch discount. Players will soon be able to explore the city of Ytash in full!
In Nocturnal 2, explore the shadowy depths and towering heights of a city plunged into darkness, where every new ability unlocks previously inaccessible routes. As players retrace their steps through Ytash, new paths emerge across its interconnected streets, drawing them deeper into the city’s secrets and towards hidden endings that reveal more of its mysteries.
Brought to life through hand-drawn art inspired by Persian architecture, Nocturnal 2 pairs a fast, agile hero with fluid movement and expressive combat. Its minimalist design puts atmosphere and discovery at the forefront, while full English voice acting brings the world of Ytash and its inhabitants to life.
