Fight Back Underground in Subway Invasion, Out Now on Steam
Subway Invasion is now available on Steam, launching today as part of the indie.io Franchise Sale.
Set within the subway system beneath New York City, Subway Invasion puts players in the role of a lone security guard defending a train against escalating waves of alien enemies. Armed with a pistol and limited resources, players must manage pressure from multiple directions while navigating confined underground spaces.
The game centers around a wave-based structure where enemy encounters intensify over time. Different alien types introduce new challenges as players progress, requiring quick reactions and careful positioning to survive. Environmental elements such as doors and structural hazards can be used during encounters, allowing players to influence the flow of enemies and create moments of control in otherwise overwhelming situations.
As players advance, they earn points that can be used to unlock upgrades. These upgrades expand combat options and allow players to experiment with different approaches while adapting to increasing difficulty. The core loop encourages replayability through wave progression, score chasing, and optimization of strategies.
All systems and mechanics are presented as part of the full experience available at launch, offering players the complete version of Subway Invasion from day one.
