Feel GODBREAKERS Fast And Frenetic Combat In Next Fest Demo Available Now
Ahead of Godbreakers PC and PlayStation release on October 23rd, To The Sky and Thunderful are excited to reveal that an updated demo that gives players the chance to sample the thrilling combat that awaits is available now. The updated demo, which will also be part of Next Fest when it kicks off October 13th, introduces a brand new biome, new boss, new miniboss and “Tangles” - optional modifiers that allow you to make the game more challenging.
To celebrate the release of the demo, the team has also released a new Features Spotlight video, highlighting the key elements that await when the game hits PC and PS5.
Players who beat the developers fastest time in the demo have a chance to win two keys for the full game at launch so they can hop straight in with a friend. To The Sky will be giving away double the amount of keys to four of the most agile players.
The demo will get you and your buddies in the mood for some fluid 1-4 player hack and slash action in a game where you can steal enemies’ powers using the “Godbreak” mechanic, explore diverse and colourful biomes, find cool loot as you sharpen your playstyle, and deal with a host of memorable boss fights. The demo is available in English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, and Ukrainian.
New features in the updated Godbreakers demo:
Explore the recently added biome of Marik, featuring entirely new environmental challenges, three unique enemy types, and a formidable main boss waiting to challenge you at the end. Marik's muscular frame embodies the Monad’s will to dominate, serving as its enforcer and guardian of the final hierarchy.
Expanded Run: You can now finally traverse between both the UHR and Marik biomes in a single run! This expanded session will allow you to truly experience the progression and power fantasy of your evolving build.
Tangles: Discover a sneak peek of our Tangles system, which allows you to modify each run with distinct challenges. Three unique Tangles are now unlockable in the demo, offering a glimpse into the diverse possibilities of the full game. For example, when the Parting Gift tangle is active, defeated enemies leave mines behind.
New Cosmetic Flair: Personalize your character with two new cosmetic options: the Gladiator Head and the Ergos Head! Make sure you look ready for the battle ahead
