Farming Simulator League: International manufacturer teams start 2nd match day in Season 3

Next match day in the Farming Simulator League (FSL): Competitive farming esports teams will strive to collect as many hay bales as possible playing Farming Simulator 19 on the weekend of 16th - 17th January 2021. Developer GIANTS Software organizes this 2nd match day as an online knockout competition, with all teams fighting for ranking points and a share in the overall season prize pool of 250.000 Euros.

Live stream starts with quarter-finals

The decisive finish of the competition will be streamed on Sunday starting at 10:00 CET via the official GIANTS Software Twitch channel. Eight remaining teams fight in the quarter-finals until the final winner is crowned. Corteva Agriscience became victorious in the first match day, as they won over Trelleborg in a close ‘best of 3’ grand finale with 740:711, 654:699 and 765:695 points respectively. The first matchday of the current 3rd FSL season can be re-lived on the official GIANTS Software YouTube channel.

International seeded teams

The 13 seeded teams originate from eight different countries. These official teams are supported by agricultural manufacturers or other sponsors. One esports team consists of 3 participants at least, and similar to real sports, there had been quite a few roster changes in preparation for this new, third season, which will last until November 2021.

Free esports DLC available

The free to download Tournament Client for Season 3 invites every Farming Simulator fan and esports enthusiast to register and compete. Based on Farming Simulator 19, the esports game mode requires teamwork to expertly harvest wheat, produce bales and quickly deliver them to a barn. Following feedback and analysis, the Tournament Client had been updated to V2.0.0.5 for balancing reasons.
