Developer of DARQ is set to create the most ambitious first-person simulation game ever.

Developer Unfold Games, known for their award-winning title DARQ, and their console publisher Feardemic, announce their magnum opus: Bloody Hell Hotel. This first-person simulation game was described as a mix of Stardew Valley and Vampires

Backed by industry veterans with experience in the likes of Assassin's Creed series, Baldur's Gate 3, Disney, Universal, Dreamworks, South Park, and films such as Inception and Pirates of the Caribbean, the Developer announced:
Bloody Hell Hotel is not just another game. It comes with a mission: we're trying to make the most ambitious first-person simulation game ever created. I don't know if we'll succeed, but we're doing everything possible (and impossible) to stay true to this mission. ( ... ) Following the warm reception of DARQ, I feel that we can't simply make "a game." It has to be completely freaking amazing or it shouldn't be made at all.

So what is the premise behind Bloody Hell Hotel? It’s a hotel management simulator with a twist. You're a vampire, so hospitality isn't your strong suit. A dark comedy inspired by Tim Burton’s films is coming to Steam, GOG, EGS, and consoles “when it’s bloody awesome”!

Feardemic might be hard at work with their upcoming event, Fear Fest: Black Summer, but the horror publisher is not slowing down. They’ve just revealed more about Unfold Games’ magnum opus, Bloody Hell Hotel, for which they’re the console publisher. The newest spooky masterpiece from the mind behind DARQ, Wlad Marhulets of Unfold Games, is set to break the boundaries of its genre with its striking art style (directed by a former Disney artist), an epic soundtrack featuring a 60-piece orchestra, and a myriad of gameplay innovations. You’ll be able to sink your teeth into it…when it’s bloody awesome! No release date has been set, as the Developer prioritizes achieving the highest level of quality over self-imposed deadlines. You can gleam more of it at the Gamescom online showcase TODAY. Just… don’t eat any garlic beforehand.

Picture this: after centuries of captivity, you awaken from a coma to find your once-great estate in ruins. You do, however, still have your property, and an unending hunger for blood. Vampires can’t enter other people’s homes uninvited, so why not make your dinner come to you instead? It’s time to turn what’s left of your mansion into a prosperous hotel! After all, you’re a blood-thirsty monster trying to enter a hospitality business - what could possibly go wrong?
