Defy Gravity and Escape the Intergalactic Empire

Solo developer Ming Yen Wu has just announced that their upcoming third-person action title, Drifting: Weight of Feathers, will officially be released on Steam on December 15th, 2021. In development for over three years, Drifting: Weight of Feathers is almost ready to leap into players’ Steam libraries.

Players take on the role of Faye, a wanted criminal on the run from the mysterious Intergalactic Empire. Players must traverse the ocean-engulfed planet Bluestar using Faye’s incredible parkour skills and powerful grappling hook. While on the run, Faye will encounter unique puzzles that players will have to solve if they ever hope to escape from her pursuers.

The full version of the game will include six levels. Each level will find players taking down enemies, performing incredible feats and solving challenging physics-based puzzles. Not only that, but as of the game’s two more recent updates there are now customizable hair options for Faye hidden around the levels. These collectibles are easy to spot but difficult to reach. Players will have to pull out all the stops to get them.

Drifting: Weight of Feathers challenges players to overcome all odds. Climb up walls, dominate your enemies, solve puzzles and discover the mysteries that hide around every corner of this strange, desolate planet.

Features Include:

  • Third-person fast-paced action gameplay featuring incredible parkour moves as well as the use of Faye’s grappling hook

  • Fluid animations and a versatile control system allowing players to run up walls, jump from obstacle to obstacle and float gracefully through the air.

  • Physics based puzzles that will challenge players' resolve as well as their intelligence.

  • Seamless map transitions

  • Gamepad Support

  • Customizable hair options for Faye hidden around each of the game’s six levels.

Look out for Drifting: Weight of Feathers when it hits steam on December 15th, 2021. You can wishlist the game and try the demo out for yourself right now on Steam.
