BAFTA-Nominated Composer Takeshi Furukawa Offers An Insight Into The Music Of Planet of Lana II In New Dev Diary
Wishfully Studios and Thunderful have today released a new dev diary for Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf that delves into the creation of the game’s beautiful orchestral soundtrack. In the video, we join BAFTA-nominated composer Takeshi Furukawa in Budapest, Hungary, to hear his thoughts on marshaling the talents of a full orchestra and choir.
We find out how the music has had to expand to match a more expansive sequel and how the man behind the music in Planet of Lana, The Last Guardian and Avatar: The Last Airbender is combining a full orchestra, choir and traditional Swedish musical inspirations to create an aural soundscape that enhances and mirrors the game’s stunning visuals.
This dev diary is the first in a series of videos delving into various aspects of Planet of Lana II, so keep your eyes peeled for more.
