Arms of God will launch in Early Access on June 8, 2026!
Dark Jay Studio has announced that its upcoming action roguelite, Arms of God, will launch in Early Access on June 8, 2026 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). The release date was revealed on April 24, 2026, during the Wishlisted Showcase at LVL UP EXPO in Las Vegas.
Arms of God is a next-gen autoshooter with Doom-inspired gore vibes, metal music, roguelite mechanics, and a satisfying combat feel. Wield five weapons at once, upgrade and merge them to forge indestructible builds, and bring divine justice to a world on the brink of chaos.

The Early Access version will include the full core gameplay experience: 60 unique, story-driven levels, 10 bosses and 60 different weapons. Looking ahead, the roadmap toward version 1.0 includes new weapons, enemies, difficulty levels, and additional game modes. The full release is currently planned for early 2027. Further updates are also expected to bring features such as local co-op and console versions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
Arms of God is developed by solo developer Dominik Sójka of Dark Jay Studio from Poland.
Dark Jay Studio is a husband-and-wife duo - he handles all the creative and technical work, and she is responsible for presenting the game to the world.
Dominik Sójka has worked on numerous game dev projects, spending 9 years at Illusion Ray Studio as a Technical Art Director and one of the main creators of the game The Beast Inside. He also worked as a Technical Artist on Medium, Senior Technical Artist on the game Spectre: Divide, and contributed to many other smaller titles. Barbara Sójka is responsible for the marketing and business aspects of the studio.

“We believe that after almost 4 years in development we’re ready to take the next step” – Dominik Sójka says. “We’ve shown the game at Gamescom, PAX, Tokyo Game Show, WePlay Expo and the feedback we got was always extremely positive. While there are numerous bullet hell games on the market, we believe Arms of God stands out thanks to its custom weapon-combining mechanics, high-quality 3D visuals in a genre dominated by pixel art, and an additional narrative layer rarely seen in this space.”
“It’s been a wild ride - just like the game itself! From day one, we’ve loved its fast-paced, well-balanced gameplay. We also really dig the dark fantasy & Warhammer 40k vibes and the heavy-metal soundtrack.” – adds Mateusz Szukajt, from Arms of God publisher - Galaktus Publishing. “Domink is a solo developer but he’s forming Dark Jay Studio with his wife, Basia, and I just think that’s an amazing gamedev-couple story. I believe the game to be their joint dream project and I very much understand how tough it is for small studios to deliver games in this economy. Our fingers are super crossed and we hope for the best”.
During February’s Steam Next Fest, Arms of God ranked among the Top 100 demos and earned a Very Positive (88%) rating. The demo was played by over 15,000 players and gained coverage from major influencers in Europe and the US, including AdmiralBahroo, Alderiate, Gohjoe, and IdleCub. The studio was also part of a joint community effort started by Polish Awesome Games Studio to make official Bullet Heaven tag at Steam - which eventually succeeded and led to announcing very first Steam Bullet Fest that will take place in June 2026.
