Alien Strike and Heroes of Magic and Steel have their release dates revealed

Nuntius Games has announced its May releases during a special showcase, featuring two titles that explore different yet equally striking styles.

Alien Strike: Blasting the Intruders, an explosive cooperative run ‘n gun developed by Combo Game Studio, arrives on May 7, while Heroes of Magic and Steel, focused on tactical strategy with deckbuilding, developed by Gaister Studios, will be released on May 28.

Both titles are initially confirmed for release on Steam, with versions planned for the future on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series S and X, and PlayStation 4 and 5, with more information to be announced soon.

Alien Strike: Blasting the Intruders arrives with intense action
Alien Strike: Blasting the Intruders is a run ‘n gun for up to 3 players that focuses on frantic combat and classic mechanics with a unique visual approach. In the game, players can slide, jump, and shoot in 8 directions while facing hordes of alien enemies in chaotic environments.

The title stands out for its anime- and manga-inspired aesthetic, featuring vibrant colors and visual elements that break away from the genre’s typical military style. Another highlight is the “screen-clearing” specials, directly reminiscent of classic arcade games.

Alyson Monteiro, Art Director, comments: "Our game was inspired by titles like Metal Slug, Contra, and also the Mega Man franchise. It initially started as a study project and evolved over time into a full commercial release."

In addition to the intense action, the game allows real-time weapon switching and the use of special abilities, creating a dynamic and cooperative experience.
