Against the flow at all costs, Swimpossible! launches today on Steam - are you hooked yet?

Swimpossible!, the absurdly-funny rage game and a debut title of Berlin-based Arcane Cabinet Games, has officially made a final splash on Steam. We hope you are ready to step into the stylish shorts of Craig, an inverse mermaid, and fulfill their dreams of swimming against the flow. Disclaimer - it won’t be easy… have you ever actually tried swimming against the current?

Arcane Cabinet Games finally hits the open water today with the official premiere of their debut title, inspired by brutally satisfying rage-games. Swimpossible! takes players on an absurd journey through finding the arm-leg-fin coordination, dodging whatever the river carries and facing ultimate challenges… such as fighting worms and ducks. The question of whether you would rather fight one giant worm or a 1000 ducks will finally be answered.

Your task here is simple: guide - or rather swim - Craig, the upside-down mermaid, upstream. Just try not to get hit with any obstacles or get knocked out by ducks, turtles and giant worms! Where’s the catch? Well, it gets harder… right from the start, when it turns out that each of your limbs is controlled by a different button.

Swimpossible! doesn’t take itself too seriously, but will certainly throw players a real challenge when it comes to coordinating their fins. It’s a classic rage game dipped in charming aesthetic and cozy graphics, soothing players with ambient music. The developers did their best to raise the river’s water level with tears of despair, as you try to swim straight once again - but it’s worth it, team up with Craig and prove them wrong!

The title is now available on Steam for $7.69, but the developers want to have a real positive impact on the aquatic inhabitants of our planet, which is why ten cents ($0.10) from every dollar earned on Steam will be donated to support the WDC - Whale and Dolphin Conservation organization.
