Aether & Iron Dev Diary #2 Reveals the Orchestral Magic Behind the Game

Seismic Squirrel has released the second behind-the-scenes developer diary for Aether & Iron, spotlighting the game’s original orchestral score. Titled How We Scored Aether & Iron with a Real Orchestra, the video features two-time Grammy winner Christopher Tin and Grammy nominee Alex Williamson discussing the creative process behind the game’s musical identity.

In the episode, Tin reflects on what first drew him to the project: the rich possibilities of its alternate-history setting.

“What immediately drew me into the game was the IP itself,” Tin explains. “The world the team was creating was really exciting to me, largely because of the musical opportunities it offered when writing the score.”
